True crime has always been popular, but these days, you can’t turn on the TV or your favorite streaming service without finding some ripped-from-the-headlines offering. All proceeds from the event’s ticket sales went to the Silver Shield Foundation, which provides educational support to the children of firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty. More than 300 true crime enthusiasts and ID Addicts (as they proudly call themselves) gathered in the Altman Building to take polygraph tests, snap photos in a “Notorious Headlines” photo booth, and, of course, see panels featuring their favorite Investigation Discovery personalities.

Finally, it's a bit quirky, but you'll actually lose a channel when you upgrade to this plan: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Now, aside from sports, there are about 15 new channels in Just Right a few of the more popular include: CNBC World, Cooking Channel, GSN, IFC, OWN, Science, Travel Channel, UniMás and the Weather Channel. Rumor has it they are working on a DVR option, but don't expect it anytime soon. So, if you like to maniacally replay controversial or game-breaking plays, you're out of luck with DIRECTV Now (since it's a streaming service without any hardware, there's no drive to save high resolution video). There is one big downside though: no DVR option. Combined with your regional sports, this package is a pretty big win for just about any fan. As mentioned above, Just Right is the first DIRECTV Now plan to include a hefty mix of national sports channels, namely: Big Ten Network, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, MLB Network, NBC Sports Network and SEC Network.
